    My take is that the media do have a significant impact on what a lot of people think - aka, media have power. And what if the US media covered #metoo more than the French ones? Those assholes (sorry, don’t see another word to describe them) were powerful in their media.

      And when your revealed preferences show without any doubt that you are some sort of sexist, I guess you’re likelihood to block a story about a feminist movement is higher.

        Btw, those men are getting fired by their respective employers. That being said, and for what I know about the small world of the Parisian media, I wouldn’t be surprised if it was already known they were part of this harassment group.
