  1. Hey #EconTwitter, I have a question! Are you aware of any publication assessing the welfare effects of governmental advertising? Especially on trust toward the gov/politics. For instance, a gov pays for ads explaining its latest policy. Is it a good thing or a bad thing? 1/2

      My intuition is that the usual informative properties of advertising would make the tax payers better informed on how their money is spent. But is there anything to support (or contradict) this intuition? Thanks! 2/2
