@shaferpr @JakeVigdor I actually changed my subject 6 months after the beginning of my PhD (something that is « easy » in France, thanks to the protective nature of PhD funding here). Even though my PhD has been a rough ride (for many reasons), I’m so glad to have switched.Permalink

@shaferpr @JakeVigdor I may not find a job in academia afterwards (if I decide to stay), but at least those years gave me a rare opportunity to explore topics and methodologies (like agent-based modeling) I was fascinated with for years.
