I've started to (seriously) pay attention to ABMs in 2015, and so far, everything I saw fits what you wrote in your tweets! I also worked with two computer scientists from @labo_Loria for a while, I learned so much.

    @mrcpangallo @leah_boustan @JuergensKate @labo_Loria I think econ would greatly benefits from 1) ABMs in general 2) ABMs that are more rooted with what computer science knows about them (to avoid mistakes) 3) ABMs that are more reproducible (ping @UCBITSS) 4) ABMs that take equation-based theories seriously.
